Freda and Sol Pelman

Freda & Sol Pelman were married on January 17th, 1943.  Sol went off to war in the navy soon afterwards.  Freda then lived on Montgomery street in Brooklyn, New York with her sister's family Pauline & Irving Levy.  When Sol returned the family moved to Manhattan Ave. in Williamsburg Brooklyn.  Sol passed away in November 2000.

It was there that their son Martin was born on November 17, 1946.  Their daughter Cheryl Pelman Ackerman was born on July 6, 1950.  Soon after they moved to the Bronx.  Martin married Linda Mayer in June of 1970.  Two years later Cheryl married Bruce Ackerman in August of 1973.  Martin settled in Jackson, New Jersey where he worked as an accountant.  Martin passed away at the age of 58 on January 18, 2005.  He had one son (Kenneth) who is a meteorologist for NOAA.
